Add New Product

  • Product Attributes

This box contains the attributes applied to this product. Attributes can have many values, for instance you may have a Size Attribute that may have many values such as Small, Medium, Large etc.

  • Available Attributes

This box contains attributes that are not currently applied to this product. Usually these attributes are specific to this product, although you can create Global Attributes that are available to all products.

  • Add/Edit Custom Attribute

Clicking this button will allow you to create/edit a custom attribute for this product

  • Name

Name of attribute - Size, or Color for instance.

  • Delete All

Delete all values for this attribute

  • Value

An aspect of this attribute - For instance if the Attribute is titled Color you may have many separate values for each Color you provide of this product.

  • Alias

Optionally, you may add and Alias to a value. This assists in search results, where you may have many Values for and attribute that are similar. For instance, if you have many Values that are shades of a color (Navy, Light Blue, Ocean Blue) you might set "Blue" as an Alias for all those Values - As a result, when you search for "Blue" all the colors you have given the Alias "Blue" will show.

  • Price Offset

This offsets the base price of the product. For instance, if this Attribute Value makes your product more expensive than the base product, you may want to offset the cost to accommodate.

  • Weight

This offsets the base weight of the product. For instance, if this Attribute Value makes your product heavier or lighter than the base product, you may want to offset the weight to accommodate for shipping.

  • Active

Sets whether this Attribute Value is active or inactive

  • >> And <<

Clicking these buttons will move the selected attribute to and from the Product Attributes and Available Attributes areas.

  • Show Individual Skus

Individual Skus are not shown by default. Clicking this button presents all Skus for this product. You can then filter what Skus are shown by Attribute Values.

Once presented you will see table of information generated from the applied Attribute(s): Attribute(s), Inventory count, Sku, Availability Toggle, Weight and Price offset.

(If more than one Attribute is applied to a product, there will be a Sku generated for each combination of all possible Attributes and their Values, e.g. You have an Attribute for Colors, and a separate Attribute for Size - Each Value in Colors will have a Sku generated for every Value in the Size Attribute)

Adding keyword tags to your product will make it easier to be found with internal searches on your site. This does not affect your SEO for the product.

Customize Order Status

On this page you can create and edit the sequence of status' an order goes through. Individual status can be edited with custom icons and titles (i.e. a Truck icon with the Shipping title suggests a state where the order is in transit to be delivered) You can drag and drop status' to rearrange their sequence.

Sub Status Items are states that are not in the normal life-cycle of an order. i.e. If an order is cancelled, that is not a normal part of the order life-cycle of Processing->Shipped->Delivered that is more consistent.

Charge Step

You may select one order status as the Charge Step. This step is where the customer will be charged for their order.

Void Step

You can set one Sub-Status Item as the Void Step. The Void Step is where the order will be voided.

Order E-Mail Templates

You can create e-mail templates to be sent out at various stages of the order process. In this section, you can name and customize the look/feel of the template.
